Seeds to Success: Radish Germination Lab- Experimental Design Experience
The purpose of this lab is for students to undergo the experimental design and peer review processes, start to finish. Students will select a household chemical and investigate how it affects both the germination time and growth of radish seeds. While this lab does utilize radish seeds due to their fast germination time, this lab still requires a significant time commitment for students to plan, revise, carry out, and analyze data from their experiments. This lab should be done once students are familiar with all the components of a written lab report and have a grasp of experimental design.
